2020 Audi Q7 Release Date

For a while, there was no clearly defined release date of the 2020 Audi Q7 for the US market. The 2020 Q7 was set to hit the European market in late 2019 with the hopes of a USA release date in early 2020. It would seem that those original projections were accurate. As of late January 2020, we are starting to see 2020 Audi Q7 models populate our inventory listings meaning the release date is upon us. We even started getting 2020 Q7 inventory feeds before Audi USA updated the models section of their website to show the 2020 Q7 instead of the 2019 model.

2020 Audi Q7 Prices

The starting price of a 2020 Audi Q7 should start under $60,000 for the 4-cylinder 45 TFSI 2.0T model (arriving at a later date) whereas the 2020 Audi Q7 V6 (55 TFSI 3.0T) price starts at $61,975. 2020 Audi Q7 Trims & Configurations

The 2020 Audi Q7 trim levels include Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige which remained the same as the 2019 Q7. The biggest difference between the 2020 vs. 2019 Q7 trim levels is the V6 engine. For 2020, the Q7 replaces the old supercharged V6 with a newer, more powerful turbocharged V6 that puts the performance specs more in line with the Q8.

2020 Audi Q7 Performance Specs

The 2020 Audi Q7 comes standard with the Quattro all-wheel-drive (AWD) system plus an 8-speed automatic transmission. Most engine options are carrying over from 2019 with the addition of the newer, upgraded V6 offering. With the standard 2.0L 4-cylinder engine, expect 248-horsepower with 273 lb-ft. of torque but on the new turbocharged V6, you can expect 335-horsepower with 369 lb-ft. of torque (compared to 329-horsepower, 325 lb-ft. of torque in 2019).

The towing capacity of the new Q7 should see a nice bump in tow ratings with the additional horsepower and torque added to the 2020 V6 model. As the new Q7 adds more power, it is normal that it would feature less fuel economy. The 2020 Audi Q7 with the 4-cylinder engine will keep the mpg ratings of 19 city/25 highway but the newer V6 will get slightly less than the older V6 with a mpg of 17 in the city/21 on the highway.

2020 Audi Q7 Exterior Colors & Dimensions

New on the 2020 Audi Q7, you can expect a bigger grille and vertical side air intakes. The headlights have also been stretched out on the 2020 Q7. The body also grew on the new Audi Q7.
