An accessible overhead knob regulates the sunroof position. Rotate the knob clockwise for increasing degrees of openness. Pressing the lip of the knob upward will slightly raise the moveable panel for some fresh air circulation. Twist the knob to the far right and quickly release to deploy the comfort position. The comfort position exists to make life easier for both people and the glass panel via reduced wind buffeting. Speaking of turbulence, an automatic wind-blocker shield extends from the front edge of the roof window to divert noisy airflow from passengers' ears. This results in heightened interior tranquility.
The interior sunshade - a fabric canvas engineered to grant controlled cabin illumination - comprises the inner layer. It is operated by the semicircular up and down arrow buttons within the sunroof knob. With the interior sunshade retracted and the sunroof sealed, vehicle occupants can soak up solar rays and relish the outdoor views while remaining covered. When the sunroof and interior sunshade are both sealed, a soft wash of natural ambient lighting will still filter through the vehicle's ceiling.
