2020 e-tron Sportback Powertrain Performance
The same powertrain is included with the new e-tron Sportback as the SUV model. This powertrain ensures that owners gain a 95.3-kWh lithium-ion battery and two dual, asynchronous electric motors, producing 355 horsepower and 414 pound-feet of torque. With boost mode activated, these numbers jump up to 402-hp with 490 lb-ft. of torque hitting 0-60mph in 5.5 secs. The new Audi e-tron Sportback, and other new Audi electric cars, come with standard quattro AWD.
2020 Jaguar I-PACE Powertrain Performance
The 2020 Jaguar I-PACE includes two electric motors producing 394 horsepower and 512 pound-feet of torque. This electric Jaguar SUV can go from 0 to 60 mph in about 4.5 seconds, offering an exhilarating ride for most users. The I-PACE is AWD standard as well. It's unclear how or if the selective drive modes affect the performance of the I-PACE.
2020 e-tron Sportback EV Range & Battery
The EPA estimates that the new e-tron Sportback should have a 218-mile driving range, but Audi is still working on making this even better. Original projections were only 204-miles, so improvements have already been made as well. As of now, we still expect around 74 MPGe city, as well as 73 MPGe highway. The e-tron Sportback has a 95 kWh battery with a 150kW DC fast charging port. At a high-speed public charger, you can restore 58 miles of range in just 10 minutes.
2020 Jaguar I-PACE EV Range & Battery
The estimated driving range on the 2020 Jaguar I-PACE is 234 miles. Charging of the lithium-ion battery pack takes an hour and a half to reach 80% capacity with a 50 kW DC fast charger. Using a Level 2 home charger, you can expect the same 80% capacity within ten hours. The I-PACE is equipped with a 90 kWh battery pack.
2020 e-tron Sportback Safety Features & Rating
The safety ratings are not yet out on the Sportback, but they contain the same tech features as the e-tron SUV model. The Audi e-tron SUV was an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ in 2019 and an overall 5-star rating from the NHTSA in 2020. Standard driver-assist safety equipment includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lane departure, automated emergency braking, self-parking assist, and semi-autonomous drive modes.
2020 Jaguar I-PACE Safety Features & Ratings
The 2020 Jaguar I-PACE has not been evaluated for safety ratings yet. However, we do know that the electric SUV comes with many standard driver-assist features. Owners receive forward collision warning, parking sensors, a rearview camera, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, rear cross-traffic alert, a driver condition monitor, traffic sign recognition, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.
